TGBD: Have you always been so obsessed with beauty?

Kristen: No, actually! I didn't apply makeup until I was 18 and started college. I was not allowed, and I had no interest. I always felt like it was a boring and time-consuming addition to my morning routine when I saw my best friend obsessed with it. I didn't know what I was missing! I got some samples of MAC dye, and it was love from the first step.

TGBD: How did you decide to start a blog?

Kristen: I've always posted my makeup looks to communities and forums, and I thought it would be nice to archive all my looks so everyone can easily access them in one place. Soon, I started reviewing various makeup releases and received such a positive response that I began to become more and more of a beauty blogger.

TGBD: What did you learn about the beauty from him?

Christine: Everything. I learned that a product that I love so much may not work well with most others, as well as some products that everyone loves, I just can't. I've learned how important it is to take good care of your skin, and how much I wish I knew about using SPF every day before I was 18! I also feel like there's a lot of creativity when it comes to beauty, and it's a great outlet!

TGBD: What is your favorite type of product to try? Eye shadows? hair styling products? What excites you?

Kristen: My God, what am I not excited about? I will always love trying new eyeshadows, because my first obsession with makeup was all the brightly colored eyeshadows I could find! I think what excites me most these days are new products, be it new formulations, changes to existing products, or totally innovative and revolutionary. I love experimenting with products that will change my beauty routine.

TGBD: Our readers have told us about the scents they have been using lately. Which one (s) are you spraying on?

Kristen: Undoubtedly, in recent months I have loved the look of Vera Wang. It is not particularly sassy or sexy, but it is perfect for casual everyday wear. Sometimes I switch to The Beat by Burberry, just because I can't resist, although I prefer it in spring than winter. For all the occasions and events that I have had on my vacation, I turned to Dior Addict, which was tried but true.

TGBD: Name your three favorite lip colors .

Kristen: I love coral pink! I just can't get enough of them. With my warm undertones, I find that these shades tend to flatter better than the other shades. Whenever I find a nice medium pink, I feel dizzy; Who does not find totally feminine and feminine pink lips? Finally, you can never get too much glitter from gold - they are great ways to add sparkle and shine to any lipstick, as well as helping warm shades that would otherwise be too cool for you to wear that well.

MAC Mari-sheeno lipstick for its beautiful shade of coral pink, which was unfortunately incredibly limited and is no longer in the US Lip gloss No. Cle de Peau 2 creates gorgeous lips on the go with its light shine. For a modern look in red, I adore MAC Queen's Sin, a bright festive red shade that works well on most skin tones.

TGBD What are the three skin care products you can't live without?

Kristen: Clarisonic is number one for me! It really helps me make sure I cleanse my skin thoroughly every night and my skin has definitely improved a lot since using it. I have to have a good moisturizer that lasts all day, and recently my favorite was Kate's oil-free moisturizer.
